Piensa Mas Alla Event

Hola Amigos!

Things here at Palomita have been quite busy! Our annual charity event, Piensa Mas Alla (Think Beyond...) is coming up in May. May 29th, 2009 to be exact! While the date may seem far away, the preparation time makes everything go by much faster. There are so many things to do! There's the outreach to the celebrities to attend, outreach to celebrities to design Palomita T-shirts (last year we had Selena Gomez, Fanny Lu, Cheech Marin, and Cristian de la Fuente...just to name a few!), the fashion show to prepare and find models for, the cocktail auction items to find, the food, and last but certainly not least, the after party! Whew!

Oh! The swag bags! Amber, one of our team has decided that this is right up her alley. She's decided that she will approach several different companies such as jewelers, magazines, make-up companies, food retailers, etc to donate items to our goody bags. Should be an adventure.

Here are some of the photos from last years event. Molly Robbins, the owner of LicenZing, Palomita and Chucho brands created the Palomita Education Fund in order to help kids of the Latino community stay in school. Education is expensive! But as Molly has already proven, education can take you far.
